MIGRAINE

It is a pain in any part of head, which is throbbing, pulsating, congestive types.

it may lasts for few hours to few days (3 to 4).

now a days migraine is a very common term in public, there are so many 

factors causing migraine.
Migraine is very notorious, so many peoples
are affected of it, not only in adulthood but  children,  teenagers and old age peoples are suffering of migraine,
It usually lasts for some hours to some days in weeks or months,
patients taking so many allopathic pain killers, but it gives temporary relief, they supperates pain but can not cure it.
where as homeopathy is very effective and there are so many remedies to cure migraine.

AURA 

patient feels severe headache with flashes of lights and temporary blindness,

can not bear sound, vertigo with nausea and vomiting, tingling sensation in limbs.

Chocolates,

Citrus fruits,

Alcohol,

Loud noise,

SYMPTOMS

pain is moderate to sever,

throbbing and pulsating pain,

some times visual disturbances,

nausea and vomiting,

pain usually on forehead and one sided,

some times on whole part of head,

vertigo, dizziness,

fatigue.

TREATMENT

BELLADONNA

belladonna is a one of the chief remedy for treating migraine, it mainly acts on cerebrum and its membrane,
it is an accute remedy,
hedache is mostly right sided from above to downward,
burning and throbbing charecter of pain, redness of the face and eyes,
intense pain and pressure over vertex and forehead, jerking headache,
 pain comes suddenly and violently, rush of blood in head and throbbing of cerebral arteries,
cold exposure and cold weather aggravates headache.

GLONOINE

It acts especially on brain,
severe throbbing and pulsating pain in head, symptoms are worse in sun exposure,
heavinesss feeling on head, patient holds the head with both hand,
brain feel to large to keep inside the skull,

NAT MUR

it is used in chronic conditions,

headache usually starts from left side of head

bursting and throbbing type of headache,

temporary loss of vision  with severe headdache,

pain increase from sunrise to sunset,

commonly in school going girls who are anaemic.

SANGUINARIA

right sided headche, 

bursting, throbbing and congestive kind of headache,

pain starts from occiput then goes upwards and finally settles in right eye, 

headache begins from morning, increasing during day lasts untill evening and relieved by sleeping.

COCCULUS

headache starts from neck and occiput and extending to spine,

throbbing and pressing type of headache,

anxiety, loss of sleep and mental exitment cuses severe headche,

vertigo with nausea and vomiting.

NUX VOMICA

Severe headache with congestion and heaviness of head,

headache after taking coffe, tobacco, alcohol, spicy foods,

heaviness and congestion feeling especially in morning loss of sleep.

GELSEMIUM

it is also a valuable remedy for headache,

dullness and diziness like feeling,

heaviness of head and bruise like pain,

dimness of vision or temporary blindness before headache starts,

headche aggravates with heat of summer

and sun.
